Introduction to Bonsai Strike

Bonsai Strike is the first in a planned series of Defi products on Binance Smart Chain that help users access sustainable and real yield.

DeFi Options Vaults (DOVs)

DeFi Options Vaults, also known as DOVs, can be used by crypto holders to generate yield on their coins. Users deposit their coins into the vaults via smart contract. The vaults then sell options on the coins and receive a premium for doing so. These premiums are reinvested into the strategy over time to sell even more options, providing depositors with compounding yield.

At launch, Bonsai Strike will have a DOV running a covered call selling strategy on BNB:

1. Covered Call Selling: each week the vault sells OTM (out of the money) call options on all deposits. The strikes are algorithmically selected to maximise the risk-reward ratio.
